MC-HL (Metal-Clad) and TECK90-HL cables are designed for industrial applications in harsh environments, including Hazardous Locations.

Both types meet strict regulatory standards and are commonly used in industries such as petrochemical, mining, marine/offshore, infrastructure, chemical/pharmaceutical, and food processing.

UL Listed armored and shielded cables built for the uses specified in Article 330 of ANSI/NFPA 70 “National Electrical Code” (NEC).

Suitable for use in Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations.

– XLPE or PVC/Nylon insulation
– Inner PVC jacket
– Corrugated aluminum armor
– Outer PVC jacket

Cable Glands, Fittings, and Gland Systems

HL Cable Glands

These cable glands are designed to ensure sealing on armored cables such as MC-HL and TECK90-HL and are suitable for use in Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations.

 

Their construction allows for grounding of the cable armor and installation in both vertical and horizontal positions. They are supplied complete with sealing compound.

Technical Information

HL cable gland suitable for use in hazardous areas as defined in Article 500 of ANSI/NFPA 70 “National Electrical Code” (NEC) and Section 18 of CSA C22.1 “Canadian Electrical Code” (CE Code). 

Suitable for use in Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations.

– Body made of aluminum, brass, or stainless steel
– Sealing achieved with compound and watertight gasket
